Long time, no see! Yes, I know, it's been aaages since I last blogged. :-S

Amazing what happens in a few weeks... such as being turned around 180 degrees to contemplate going back to study Music at university. Heh, yes, you heard correctly!  I guess it's been on my mind for a while, but the biggest reason that I've decided to have a go is because I think it will greatly enhance my opportunities to record in forming good contacts and also increase my own knowledge of music and how creative I can be with it.  Anyway, all of that is in the future as I can't apply until next year, given that there is no mid-year entry at the local unis here. :( Still, I'm glad to have the time to work out exactly what I can do.

So where does that leave my recording hopes?  Well, not altogether out of the question, praise God! I have a few friends who are eager to learn sound engineering, so hope I can put together a couple of good demos to see what a good recording of my voice is like in the meantime.

If there's one thing I've been learning more about in these last few weeks, it's trusting God completely. Changing careers and deciding on what to do next is not an easy thing, the emotions are up and down and it's hard to believe that God knows exactly what He's doing. But one thing I do know, all my life so far was known to Him before it happened, and all that lies ahead is known to Him and will be what is best for me.  God's Word (the Bible) assures me that He is faithful, and that He has a plan for my life even through the difficult times and knowing this helps me to trust Him. Hebrews 10:23 Jer 29:11 Rom 8:28 John 3:16
